Anjanet Rossouw is an Occupational Therapist with a special interest in splinting, handtherapy and scar management. She completed her undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy (BOccTher) at Stellenbosch University in 2011, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Disability and Rehabilitation in 2017 and a Master’s degree in Human Rehabilitation in 2019.
She began her career at the Port Elizabeth Hospital Complex before joining Tygerberg Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in acute and sub-acute care, including burns, hand therapy, splinting, and neurosurgery rehabilitation. During this time, she was also involved in the clinical training of undergraduate Occupational Therapy students.
Anjanet has worked internationally in the United Arab Emirates at Amana Healthcare and later at Al Jalila Children’s Hospital in Dubai, where she developed a specialised interest in upper limb rehabilitation, particularly in plastic surgery recovery, burns, and congenital hand conditions. She has presented at multiple local and international conferences and contributed to peer-reviewed research in the field of assistive technology.
Her clinical focus includes hand therapy, custom splinting, and scar therapy following plastic and reconstructive surgery, with an emphasis on restoring function and improving quality of life.
Dewald Viljoen is a Physiotherapist, who completed his BSc Physiotherapy from University of Stellenbosch.
Brittany Johnson is a Dietician who completed her BSc in Dietetics with a Cum Laude at Stellenbosch University.
